New Administrator, CFO Announcement Coming Up In Mendham
Interims have been serving in each of the roles in the township. Resolutions should be adopted at the July 26 meeting to fill the positions.

MENDHAM, NJ — The interim Township Administrator has been serving in Mendham Township since April 2020, with the interim Chief Financial Officer having started around Jan. 1, but the names of the candidates who are being considered to permanently take those spots should be announced on July 26.
Bob Casey, the township’s interim administrator, told Patch the candidates are undergoing final verification for each of these seats. At the July 26 Township Committee meeting, it’s expected that their names will be announced and resolutions pertaining to their positions will be up for adoption that night.
Casey confirmed he personally won’t be filling the permanent administrator seat, having served only in New Jersey municipalities when administrator vacancies have arisen, since he retired in 2000. He previously worked as an interim administrator in Mendham, when there had been a vacancy in 2014.
