Primary Election 2023: Who Is On The Ballot In Mendham, Chester

MENDHAM, NJ — On June 6, voters around New Jersey head to the polls to vote in the 2023 primary election.

In Mendham Township, committee member Amalia Duarte is vying to keep her seat on the committee and is being challenged by Republican candidate Elisa Wyman.

In Mendham Borough, there are two seats up for grabs this year and three candidates have put in their bid. This November, Republicans Marilyn Althoff and William Russo will be running against sole Democrat Melissa Rawley-Payne.

In Chester Township, two seats are up for grabs and Republican incumbents Joseph DiPaolo and Tara Schellhorn are vying to keep their seats.

Two seats in Chester Borough are up for election, and Republican incumbent Gary Marshuetz is running to keep his seat. Current council member Elizabeth Gugliemini is not seeking re-election; instead, Republican Jason Rothamel is running.

Mendham and Chester are also voting for the County Clerk, one Commissioner seat, and for a State Senate and two General Assembly seats.
