Carbon Monoxide Leak Shuts Down Chester Shopping Center: Officials
Police and fire officials have evacuated shoppers and employees as they attempt to fix the leak.
CHESTER, NJ — A carbon monoxide leak at a Chester strip mall has resulted in evacuations and closures, according to police.
According to police, the leak was found around 3 p.m. in the CVS in the Chester Springs Shopping Center on U.S. 206.
As a result, the CVS is closed, along with the Homegoods, Party Fair, BeneFit, and Marshalls. Other shops in the mall remain open, for now, police said.

Authorities ask that people avoid the area if possible.
