Traffic Light On Route 206 In Chester Knocked Down In Crash
The traffic flow has been altered until the traffic light stand can be repaired, police said.

CHESTER, NJ — Drivers are asked to use caution when navigating around a downed traffic signal in Chester.
According to the Chester Police Department, a car crash occurred this morning at approximately 8:46 a.m. on US Highway 206 at the intersection of Four Bridges and Hillside Road.
It was not immediately clear how the vehicle collision knocked out the traffic light.

As a result of the crash, the traffic pattern has been modified until the traffic light stand can be repaired.
Officials did not immediately respond to questions about the car crash.

During the repairs, only right turns onto Rt. 206 from Hillside Road / Four Bridges Road will be permitted; there will be no crossing of Rt. 206 from Hillside Road to Four Bridges Road or vice versa. There are no left turns allowed from Rt. 206 onto Hillside Road or Four Bridges Road.
"Thank you in advance for your patience and understanding while we wait for these repairs to be made," police said.
