Uncontested Election Set For West Morris Regional HS School Board

There are uncontested races for the board representing West Morris Central and West Morris Mendham high schools. Here are the candidates.

CHESTER, NJ — The West Morris Regional High School District’s Board of Education has several seats up for grabs in November among the regional board’s representation of five separate municipalities.

During this election, there are no contested races, according to petitions filed with the Morris County Clerk’s Office.

Among the candidates for the board are:

  • Don Storms, incumbent from Chester Borough, for one open seat for a three-year term.
  • Michael J. Golabek for Chester Township, in a one-year unexpired term.
  • John J. Sheppard incumbent from Washington Township, for one of two, three-year seats.
  • Armand Czapkowski for Washington Township for the second, three-year seat.

Neither Mendham Township nor Mendham Borough have any seats open on the regional board for this election cycle.
