Winning Powerball Ticket Sold In Morris County
Lucky player used 'Powerplay' to receive triple the amount of third prize.

FLANDERS, N.J. – It may not have been the historic jackpot of $500,000,000, but someone who purchased a Powerball ticket in Morris County did come up big Wednesday night.
A ticket purchased at The Wine Rack on Route 206 in Flanders matched four white balls and the Powerball in Wednesday night’s drawing, winning $150,000 after using the “Powerplay” option, which multiplied the player’s winnings three-fold.
The winning numbers for the Jan. 6 drawing were 2, 11, 47, 62, and Powerball 17.
