Woman Struck, Killed By Car Morris County
The 77-year-old's death remains under investigation, police said.

MINE HILL, NJ - A 77-year-old woman was struck by a car and killed on West Randolph Avenue on Tuesday, according to the Morris County Prosecutor's Office.
Wharton Police were called to West Randolph Avenue shortly before 7 p.m. on a report of a pedestrian who had been struck by a motor vehicle, authorities said.
First responders located a woman in the roadway and a 2019 Honda HRV in the area, police said. The 77-year-old was pronounced dead at the scene, and the driver of the Honda was not injured.

Authorities said they are not releasing the identities of the driver, the victim or if any charges were filed at this time.
Members of the Wharton Police Department, the Morris County Sheriff's Office Crime Scene
Investigations Unit, and the Morris County Prosecutor's Office Major Crimes Unit participated in
the investigation, which remains ongoing, authorities said.
