Gas Leak Reported In Middlesex Boro

MIDDLESEX, NJ — Update: PSE&G has resolved the issue and the scene is now clear.

A gas leak was reported as of 11 a.m. Thursday in Middlesex borough, in the area of Melrose Avenue, said Middlesex Police.

People are being asked to avoid the area of Melrose Avenue.

PSE&G is currently on the scene addressing the gas leak, as is the Middlesex Police Department, Middlesex Fire Department and Middlesex OEM.

Please avoid the area at this time.
