Man Ran Unlicensed Middlesex Boro Marijuana Shop, Police Say
Police raided a building on Bound Brook Road and seized 23.3 pounds of suspected raw marijuana and $17,000 in cash:
MIDDLESEX BOROUGH, NJ — A Piscataway man is accused of running an illegal marijuana dispensary in Middlesex borough, Middlesex Police announced Friday.
Police say Christopher L. Twine, 36, of Piscataway, was operating an unlicensed marijuana business, called “Queen City Petro" from 555 Bound Brook Road.
Twine did not have a license from the state of New Jersey to sell marijuana, said police.

Officers raided the building and seized 23.3 pounds of suspected raw marijuana, suspected marijuana-infused food products and more than $17,000 in U.S. currency, in addition to various items believed to have been used to facilitate the operation.
Twine was charged with marijuana possession with intent to distribute, possession and money laundering.

The investigation was done by Middlesex police officers Colin DeVincenzo and Detective Scott Mulford.
“Illegal dispensaries attempting to circumvent state and borough regulations must be held accountable to the law,” said Middlesex Police Chief Matthew Geist. “This comprehensive and on-going investigation by our officers and Detective Mulford is integral to our mission of safeguarding our community from unregulated products and business practices.”
