MIDDLESEX BORO, NJ — Released by Middlesex borough Police on Sept. 11, all the arrests for that time period:

August 27 at 10:48 A.M. – The proprietor of a Smalley Avenue business reported being defrauded by a customer posing as a legitimate company. The total reported loss was $26,629. Officer Brandon Stout conducted the preliminary investigation, which was later turned over to Detective Scott Mulford.

August 29 at 4:48 P.M – Joan E. Wyckoff, 60, of Middlesex was charged with Criminal Mischief. Through his investigation, Officer Colin DeVincenzo determined that Ms. Wyckoff vandalized a motor vehicle on Lincoln Boulevard, resulting in $2,369 worth of damage.

August 31 at 3:39 P.M. – A Union Avenue business manager reported that three unknown males shoplifted six bags of ice, valued at $10.74. Officer Brandon Stout investigated.

August 31 at 9:05 P.M. – Jaedon D. Kinahan, 20, of Middlesex was arrested and charged with DWI following a motor vehicle crash at the intersection of Bound Brook Road and South Lincoln Avenue. Officer Anthony Painchaud investigated.

September 1 at 11:55 P.M. – David Baloco, 25, of Elizabeth was arrested and charged with DWI following a motor vehicle stop on River Road. Officer Anthony Painchaud investigated.

September 2 at 1:39 A.M., 2:44 A.M., 8:17 A.M., 9:52 A.M. – Residents of East Fulton Street and Parker Street reported overnight motor vehicle burglaries. Items that were reported stolen included a backpack, wallet and cash. The combined loss reported was $370. All motor vehicles were unlocked and unattended at the time of the incidents. Officer Colin DeVincenzo and Officer Joseph Centola investigated.

September 5 at 4:07 A.M. – An individual renting a parking space on Smalley Avenue reported the theft of a tractor trailer, containing a significant amount of seafood that was ready for delivery. The total reported loss was $355,000. Officer Anthony Painchaud conducted the preliminary investigation, which was later turned over to Detective Scott Mulford. Later that afternoon, while investigating the incident, Det. Mulford and Officer Richard Szymczak determined that four shipping containers in the same yard were forcibly entered, however, nothing was taken.

September 7 at 12:32 P.M. – A resident of Edison reported they were assaulted by an acquaintance earlier that morning on Mountain Avenue. Officer Jamie Marczak is investigating.

September 7 at 11:42 P.M. – James McCloud, 70, of Middlesex was arrested and charged with DWI following a motor vehicle stop on Union Avenue. Officer Christian Dulin investigated.

September 9 at 6:37 A.M., 7:10 A.M., 8:15 A.M., 5:08 P.M., 8:14 P.M.- Residents of Cindy Court, Park Place, North Lincoln Avenue, Bound Brook Road and Grandview Street reported overnight motor vehicle burglaries. Items that were reported stolen included a cell phone, cash and sunglasses. The combined loss reported was $560. All motor vehicles were unlocked and unattended at the time of the incidents. Officer James Morley, Officer Richard Szymczak, Officer Daniel Gurell and Detective Paul Cerreto are investigating.

September 9 at 9:02 A.M. – A proprietor of a Bound Brook Road business reported an overnight burglary. Through investigation, it was determined that an unknown individual broke a window to gain entry and once inside stole a cash register, food and alcohol. The total reported loss, including the cost to repair and replace the window was $1,382. Officer Richard Szymczak conducted the preliminary investigation, which was later turned over to Detective Paul Cerreto.

September 11 at 1:40 A.M. – Juan J. Arrendono-Cifuent, 44, of Elizabeth was arrested and charged with DWI following a motor vehicle stop on River Road. Officer Anthony Painchaud investigated.

As is the case with all defendants, charges are merely accusations and they are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
