Middlesex Borough August Police Blotter

Released by Middlesex Police, all the arrests for the month of August into September. Multiple people were charged with DWI:

MIDDLESEX BOROUGH, NJ — Released by Middlesex Police, all the arrests for the month of August into September:

August 7 at 4:39 p.m. – A proprietor of a Cedar Avenue business reported the theft of a refrigerated box trailer, valued at $65,000. Through investigation, it was determined that the theft occurred on July 28, 2023. The trailer was later recovered in Ridgefield by the New Jersey State Police. Officer Paul Steffanelli and Officer Amanda Basso conducted the initial investigation, which was later turned over to Detective Sergeant Sean Flanagan.

August 11 at 1:44 a.m. – Kathleen A. Connell, 26, of Bound Brook was arrested and charged with DWI following a motor vehicle crash on Bound Brook Road. Officer Anthony Painchaud and Officer Christian Dulin investigated.

August 13 at 6:29 p.m. – A resident of North Plainfield reported a road rage incident that occurred on Lincoln Boulevard. The reporting party alleged that the other involved driver spit at their vehicle. Officer April Menditto investigated.

August 14 at 2:54 p.m. – A proprietor of a Bound Brook Road business reported they were deceived in the amount of $11,541.47 through fraudulent credit card transactions. Officer Joshua Pham conducted the initial investigation, which was later turned over to Detective Paul Cerreto.

August 17 at 6:16 p.m. – A resident of Cook Avenue reported the theft of two dog shampoo bottles, stolen from a package that was delivered to their mailbox. The reported loss was $95. Officer April Menditto investigated.

August 19 at 2:14 p.m. – A resident of Lake Ariel, PA reported the theft of a work laptop from an unlocked and unattended motor vehicle. The vehicle was reportedly parked in a parking lot on Bound Brook Road at the time of the incident. The reported loss was $2,500. Officer April Menditto investigated.

August 19 at 7:36 p.m. – A resident of the Middlesex Village Apartments reported the theft of a license plate from a Honda CRV. The vehicle was reportedly parked in the Middlesex Village Apartments parking lot at the time of the incident. Officer Christian Dulin investigated.

August 19 at 10:03 p.m. – Samuel Bolvito-Cuxun, 39, of Bound Brook was arrested and charged with DWI following a motor vehicle stop on Union Avenue. Officer Christian Dulin investigated.

August 19 at 11:50 p.m. – Maximus Trujillo, 21, of Bound Brook was arrested and charged with DWI following a motor vehicle stop on Union Avenue. Officer Anthony Painchaud investigated.

August 22 - Edinson Rodriguez Sime, 32, of Lindenhurst, NY was charged with Theft By Deception, stemming from a PSE&G scam. Through his investigation, Detective Scott Mulford determined that Rodriguez Sime was responsible for defrauding a local business out of $2,109.43.

August 24 at 8:28 p.m. – A proprietor of a Lincoln Boulevard business reported the theft of scrap metal, valued at $100. Officer Jamie Marczak and Officer Amanda Basso investigated.

August 26 at 8:59 a.m. – A resident of Gramercy Gardens reported the theft of power tools from the toolbox of their motor vehicle. The toolbox was reportedly locked at the time of the incident. The total reported loss was $3,150. Officer Paul Muldowney investigated.

August 28 at 10:31 a.m. – A Hazelwood Elementary School official reported painted-graffiti on a school shed. Officer Jamie Marczak and Officer Amanda Basso investigated.

August 28 at 12:39 p.m. – A resident of Dunellen reported the theft of a toolbox from the bed of a pickup truck. The reported loss was $300. Officer Jamie Marczak and Officer Amanda Basso investigated.

August 29 at 5:27 p.m. – The proprietor of a Bound Brook Road business reported the theft of eight pairs of eyeglasses, valued at $3,015. Officer Colin DeVincenzo and Detective Scott Mulford are investigating.

August 31 at 5:37 p.m. – A resident of Piscataway reported the theft of their purse while they were a patron at a Bound Brook Road business. Officer Paul Muldowney investigated.

September 3 at 12:00 a.m. – William Martin Gomez Morales, 36, of Bound Brook was arrested and charged with DWI following a motor vehicle stop on Union Avenue. Officer Anthony Painchaud investigated.

September 3 at 1:57 a.m. – Miles M. Mayo, 31, of Caldwell was arrested and charged with DWI following a motor vehicle stop on Union Avenue. Officer Christian Dulin investigated.

As is the case with all defendants, charges are merely accusations and they are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
