American Littoral Society Asks For Old Fishing/Outdoor Gear Donations This Sunday
From 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. Sunday, May 4 they are accepting outdoor gear donations at 18 Hartshorne Drive, Highlands (in Sandy Hook Park).

HIGHLANDS, NJ — Monmouth County residents: Do you have gently used outdoor gear gathering dust at home?
The American Littoral Society, which has their headquarters on Officers' Row at Sandy Hook, is currently collecting old and unused outdoor gear so they can continue their teaching programs for children and teens about nature and the outdoors.
From 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. this Sunday, May 4 they will be accepting outdoor gear donations at their office within Sandy Hook. Drop-off address is 18 Hartshorne Drive, Highlands, NJ 07732

"We are in particular need of a spotting scope, tripod and binoculars, as well as fishing gear. If you have any questions, please contact Education Specialist Samantha Hemming at samantha@littoralsociety.org."
Their Education and Fish Tagging Departments will use the donated equipment.

Also, don't forget about their Homeschool Family Fun Day from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. Wednesday, May 14 at Sandy Hook. Homeschool students ages 5 and up will have the opportunity to connect with other families while discovering Sandy Hook’s unique marine environment. Find more info and RSVP on their website.
