Ferrara: This is my first attempt running for public office. The reason I'm doing so is because we currently have an out-of-control government with public officials abusing their power and trampling over the U.S. Constitution daily. I have a fantastic background and graduated second in my class at Rutgers School of Law in Camden, N.J.
Patch: Tell us a little bit about yourself and your campaign.
Ferrara: I graduated Summa Cum Laude, placing second in my graduating class, from Rutgers School of Law — Camden in 2005. I also served as Executive Editor of the Rutgers Law Journal while there and served as a teaching assistant. Upon graduation, I worked at several prestigious law firms in the area. In 2013, I switched careers and began selling real estate. I received the New Jersey Association of Realtors (NJAR) Circle of Excellence Sales Award each of the past three years. My campaign is a grassroots campaign by the people and for the people. I am seeking to end corruption, hold bad actors accountable, reduce taxes and support our military and police. I am America first. We must get our own house in order before we should be focusing on other countries.
Patch: How long have you lived in Hamilton Township?
Ferrara: I have lived in Hamilton Township, N.J. for most of my life. I lived just a bit south in Bordentown, N.J. from 2010-2017. All my years I lived in New Jersey's current 3rd Congressional District.
Patch: Tell us about your career and service in Hamilton Township.
Ferrara: I've been selling real estate in my district since 2013. Prior to that I worked as an attorney in this district.
Patch: What are some ways you give back to the community?
Ferrara: I give back to the community by participating in school board meetings, supporting local small business and by generally treating my neighbors with love, compassion and respect.
Patch: If you were to be elected, what would some of your top priorities/policies/changes be?
Ferrara: I would absolutely end all mask and vaccine mandates. I would push to end illegal immigration, close the southern border and finish the wall. I'd ensure critical race theories do not become part of the school curriculum. I would support our military, veterans, seniors, police and increase their funding and moral support. I will focus on ending human trafficking and crush the opioid epidemic by holding drug manufacturers accountable. Cutting down inflation and supporting legislation fixing our economy and supply chain crisis, would be my priority. I strongly support small business and believe it is the lifeblood of America.
Patch: What distinguishes you from other candidates?
Ferrara: My background distinguishes me. I graduated at the absolute top of my class from law school and I'm vying for a position involving making laws. Furthermore, I'm only in it for the right reasons, namely, to save my country and the futures of my children, my neighbors and their children from a Marxist takeover. I've had people tell me for years I should run for office, that I'd be perfect. Well, I'm finally doing just that.
Patch: What’s the biggest challenge or most difficult moment you’ve faced during this election?
Ferrara: The biggest challenge I'm facing is that my competitors have both notoriety and lots of money. I have the best resume and the most experience for the position, but I lack political connections (I stayed away from politics until I decided to run) and money. If I had either, this would be an easy win for me given my background and personality. Sadly, one of the first things potential endorsers ask is, "How much money do you have?" Yet, I continue to fight for the people in the hopes of resolving their issues and keeping America first. So, I count on the support of all well-wishers and like-minded individuals who wish to support me on this journey.
Patch: What’s the most satisfying part about running in this election?
Ferrara: The most satisfying thing thus far has been meeting and talking with other patriots who love this country and hate the direction it's on at the moment. Every time I talk with someone, I gain another ally. My sincerity is palpable, and people recognize it. Also, I'm incredibly affable and make lasting impressions quickly. This has led to the establishment of many new relationships and supporters in relatively short order. Nothing is more satisfying than having someone I just met tell me that I absolutely have their support, which happens often.
