Curator Of Bruce Springsteen Archives Speaks At Middletown Arts Center
Monmouth University runs the Bruce Springsteen Archives, and its curator will speak next Wednesday night at the Middletown Arts Center.

MIDDLETOWN, NJ — Next Wednesday, Sept. 18 the Middletown Township Historical Society hosts "Meet the Bruce Springsteen Archives & Center for American Music" at the Middletown Arts Center.
The event begins at 7 p.m.
Monmouth University just recently opened the Bruce Springsteen Archives & Center for American Music. It preserves the legacy of Bruce Springsteen and celebrates the history of American music and its diversity of artists and genres.

Next Wednesday night, curator Melissa Ziobro will give an overview of the collection's history, programming and exhibition efforts to date, plus an inside look at the treasures being preserved — and maybe a little about Bruce's connections to Middletown!
Held at 7 p.m. Sept. 18 at the Middletown Arts Center (36 Church Street).

Also, the Middletown Historical Society has a new exhibit up in the lobby of Middletown town hall. The current exhibit features enlargements of Middletown postcards with explanatory captions, along with a painting of Kings Highway that depicts various landmarks and events. Check it out during Town Hall's regular business hours.
