"Offering PET/CT puts us among a very select group of veterinary hospitals nationwide," said Peter Chapman, Red Bank Vet's medical director.

LINCROFT, NJ — Red Bank Veterinary Hospital now has PET/CT scanning for early cancer detection in pets.
Red Bank Veterinary Hospital just added Positron Emission Tomography/Computed Tomography (PET/CT) to its advanced diagnostic services. This technology is only available at a handful of veterinary hospitals across the United States, said Red Bank Veterinary.
“Offering PET/CT places us among a very select group of veterinary hospitals nationwide,” said Peter Chapman, lead veterinarian and medical director at Red Bank Veterinary Hospital.

PET/CT combines functional and anatomical imaging to find the presence, location and extent of cancer. By detecting metabolic activity at the cellular level, PET/CT allows clinicians to identify disease earlier and with greater accuracy than traditional imaging methods.
