"I love being out on the water, but had never done a boat-based dinner event," said Burke this week. "So when Rich approached me with idea, I was intrigued, especially when we decided to christen his motor yacht the GOAT Boat for the occasion."

Dinner will start with a choice of bacon glistening in black pepper maple glaze or Watermelon & Asparagus Salad, topped by burrata. For the main course, accompanied by the popovers, cruisers will decide between Braised Short Ribs or Grilled Fish with pasta and green beans. There will be dancing after dinner.

Before docking, the meal will end on a sweet high note with either the cake pop tree crowned by cotton candy or Burke's Key Lime Pie, which Martha Stewart declared the best she’s ever had, both from Dixie Lee Bakery by David Burke.

The June 9 sailing will be the first of several "The Goat Boat Supper Club" cruises Burke and Teal Cruises are planning for the summer season, each with a different menu or theme.
