Middletown School District Still Waiting For Facilities Study From Ross Haber & Associates (patch.com) — Middletown parents are still waiting on a long-delayed $24,000 facilities and boundary study that will guide possible redistricting and even school closures in the township. Superintendent Jessica Alfone now expects Ross Haber & Associates to deliver the report in January, saying the district will use the findings to restart strategic planning and share results with the community in the new year.

Middletown School Board Says Goodbye To Leonora Lacqua-Caminiti, Gary Tulp And Joe Fitzgerald (patch.com) — Middletown’s final school board meeting of 2025 turned into an emotional farewell for longtime member Leonora Lacqua-Caminiti and fellow trustees Gary Tulp and Joe Fitzgerald, whose terms are ending. Colleagues publicly thanked them for years of volunteer service to Middletown’s students and families, highlighting Lacqua-Caminiti’s 19-year tenure and close working relationships on the board.
   

3. Middletown School Superintendent Defends Why She Chose A 2-Hour Delay Monday (patch.com) — Middletown’s superintendent explained why Monday’s school day started with a two-hour delay, stressing icy sidewalks, dark early-morning commutes and staff traveling from other counties as key safety concerns. She noted coordination with the mayor and Office of Emergency Management, and reminded families that the next Middletown Board of Education meeting will be the January reorganization session.
   

4. Ice Hockey: Middletown North Beats Middletown South, 9-4 (tapinto.net) — Middletown hockey fans saw a big rivalry win as Middletown North powered past Middletown South 9–4, breaking the Eagles’ unbeaten start. Dominiks Marnauza led the Lions with two goals and three assists, while several Middletown North and South players added multi-point nights in a high-scoring, fast-paced matchup.
