Full Schedule Of Summer Performances In Thompson Park
The line-up of free concerts from June through August. All shows are held in the Thompson Park Theater Barn, unless otherwise noted:

LINCROFT, NJ — There's something for everybody this summer as the Monmouth County Park System presents a series of free concerts and performances in Thompson Park, 805 Newman Springs Road, Lincroft.
Open to all ages, these shows are held at the Theater Barn, unless otherwise noted. Concertgoers are invited to bring lawn chairs or blankets, food and soft drinks to outdoor performances.

Colts Neck Community Band - Concert in the Park
Friday, June 7 at 7:30 p.m.

Enjoy an evening of music as this group, recognized as one of the finest in the state, performs a selection of pieces ranging from light classical to Broadway tunes. Please note that this concert is held in the Thompson Park Activity Barn. Indoor seating is available or bring a lawn chair.
Storytelling in the Barn
Saturday, June 8 from 6-8 p.m.
Gather around for a night of storytelling with host James Dalton of AP & Me Productions. The evening will feature characters offering different voices and perspectives. Audience members are encouraged to share their stories. Performance is indoors; light refreshments served.
People, Places and Possibilities!
Friday, June 14 from 7-8:30 p.m.
Hear vocalist Altha Morton and the Sentimental Journey Big Band break the barriers between eras and genres of music. Combining the past with the present, these performers can play everything from swing to Taylor Swift. The concert is outdoors; however, if the weather is inclement, the concert will be moved indoors.
Bluegrass and Old-Time Music
Sundays, June 16, July 21 & August 18 from 12-5 p.m.
The Bluegrass and Old-Time Music Association of New Jersey will meet for jam sessions under the trees by the Theater Barn. Bring your bass, banjo, fiddle, mandolin or guitar and join in, or just come and enjoy the music. Please bring your own lawn chairs.
JoBonanno & The Godsons of Soul Performance
Friday, July 19 from 7-8:30 p.m.
Dance the night away as this rock and soul band takes the stage with their amazing horns, keys, guitar and drums. The concert is outdoors; however, if the weather is inclement, the concert will be moved indoors.
Mission Dance Band Concert
Friday, August 23 from 7-8:30 p.m.
Get grooving with this 10-piece Jersey Shore band! Their powerful vocals, horns and rhythm section have made them a favorite in the tri-state area for many years. The concert is outdoors; however, if the weather is inclement, the concert will be moved indoors.
Dancing Thru the Ages - Roaring 20s to Fabulous 50s & Beyond
Saturday, August 24 from 7-8:30 p.m.
Feel the nostalgia as you journey through the history of social jazz dance during this high-energy show. Performance will showcase dance styles born in America and influenced by the unique trendsetting musical styles of their times. Performance presented by Jumpin’ Entertainment featuring The Roaring Rascals & Team Lindyland. Performance is held indoors.
