227 Middletown Customers Lose Power After Car Hits Pole: JCP&L
Utility company spokesman says JCP&L was in the process of restoring power to 227 customers near Woodland Drive.

MIDDLETOWN, NJ — JCP&L reported Tuesday that 227 customers were without power after a car struck a utility pole in an area west of Route 35.
Utility spokesman Chris Hoenig said the accident happened in the area of Woodland Drive.

As of 3 p.m. on Tuesday, the new pole had been set and power was being reconnected, Hoenig said.
Police did not have additional details on the incident or the outage.
