Keansburg's Runaway Rapids Hosts 'Bark In The Park' Sept. 10

Runaway Rapids​ invites "well-behaved" dogs from 4-6 p.m. Sept. 10 to swim in the park before it closes for the season. $25 per dog.

KEANSBURG, NJ — The popular end-of-summer tradition returns to Runaway Rapids in Keansburg: The water park will host its fifth annual "Bark in the Park" event from 4-6 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 10.

Runaway Rapids says "well-behaved" dogs are invited to come to the park at that time, which is after regular operating hours, to swim and splash in their water park.

The price is $25 per dog and $15 per human. There will be no coupons, passes, specials or discounts. Buy tickets in advance here.

A portion of the proceeds will be donated to the Monmouth County SPCA and Humane Society.

Requirements: Proof of rabies vaccination/license is required for every dog. It must be shown the day of entrance. No entrance allowed without proof of vaccine. The Bordatella vaccine is recommended, but not required.

All dogs must have a collar and leash on hand by owner. Limit one dog per handler.

No aggressive dogs and Bark in the Park will be rain or shine. A special giveaway will be provided with every dog admission.
