Man Broke Into Garages, Cars On Ocean Ave. In Middletown, Police Say
A Keansburg man was arrested:
MIDDLETOWN, NJ — A Keansburg man was arrested in Middletown Sept. 19 after police said he was seen going onto different properties, entering cars and garages and stealing things.
This happened before dawn on Ocean Avenue, said Middletown Police. Middletown Police were called to the residential street at 5:45 a.m. after Anthony Scaduto, 48, of Keansburg, got into an altercation with residents and someone called 911.
People told police they saw him entering garages and cars, and stealing items. Scaduto was charged with burglary and theft. After his arrest, he was found to be in possession of two knives as well as suspected methamphetamine, said police.

Officers also learned Scaduto was wanted on active warrants for his arrest.
Scaduto was charged with criminal mischief, burglary, theft, receiving stolen property, possession of a controlled dangerous substance, unlawful possession of a weapon and contempt of court. he was taken to the Monmouth County jail.
