Marc Tomo Just Hired As Middletown South Head Football Coach
Tomo was South's defensive coordinator for the past two seasons, and before that an assistant coach under Steve Antonucci.
MIDDLETOWN, NJ — At their Monday night meeting, the Middletown school board hired Marc Tomo as the new Middletown High School South football coach.
Tomo is stepping into the role held by longtime South football coach Steve Antonucci, who retired this year.
Tomo was South's defensive coordinator for the past two seasons, and before that an assistant coach under Antonucci, the Asbury Park Press reports.

Antonucci was popular in Middletown, and he was inducted into the New Jersey Scholastic Coaches Association Hall of Fame in 2016. He coach the Middletown South football team for 26 seasons.
Tomo is from Ocean Township and he played football at Monmouth University, according to the Asbury Park Press.
