Middletown Honey Baked Ham Now Reopen, Will Have Big Giveaways Saturday

Even Bruce Springsteen and Bon Jovi have popped into the Middletown Honey Baked Ham over the years, the store said.

MIDDLETOWN, NJ — The Middletown Honey Baked Ham quietly reopened Nov. 3, but will have its grand reopening celebration this Saturday, Nov. 15.

This is the Honey Baked Ham at 770 Rt. 35 south in Middletown. They had been closed for renovations.

Their grand reopening will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, and the first 50 guests will receive free HoneyBaked sandwiches for a year. Every 30 minutes guests can enter to win a free Honey Baked Ham or Turkey. The community is invited to enjoy product sampling, spin the HoneyBaked prize wheel to win branded merchandise and take 20 percent off their purchase for the entire day.

They will have a ribbon cutting at 12 p.m.

The Middletown Honey Baked Ham is owned and operated by franchisee Thomas McGwire of Red House Connecticut and is his fourth location. Even Bruce Springsteen and Bon Jovi have popped into the Middletown Honey Baked Ham over the years, the store said. McGwire is the great-grandson of Honey Baked Ham founder, Harry J. Hoenselaar.

The newly remodeled 2,500 square-foot restaurant is now open Monday through Friday from 9:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., and closed on Sundays.
