Middletown Hosting Meeting Dec. 16 For Homeowners Rehab Program Information
Homeowners in Middletown are welcome to attend the information session meeting, hosted by the Community Development Dept. on December 16.
If you are a Middletown homeowner, you may be eligible for a home rehabilitation grant or loan of up to $25,000 from Middletown Township’s Home Rehabilitation Program.
The program is funded by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, and is exclusively for low and moderate-income households to repair or replace older systems in the home, such as plumbing, heating, roof, or electric. Handicap accessibility improvements are also eligible.
The Middletown Township Community Development Department staff will be holding a meeting for interested homeowners in order to provide information about the program on Tuesday, December 16. This information session will take place at the Middletown Library’s Main Branch, located at 55 New Monmouth Road, at 3:00 p.m.

If your home was damaged by Superstorm Sandy, these funds may not be used in combination with other funds received for the cost of repairs. Home Rehab grants/loans may, however, become available to Sandy damaged households under certain, very limited circumstances.
