Middletown Library Hosts 'Get Healthy In 2023' Lecture Series

The Middletown Library presents a series of free health lectures over the winter months of January, February and March:

MIDDLETOWN, NJ — Get healthy this winter with the Middletown Public Library, as it presents a series of free health lectures over the winter months of January, February and March.

The series begins with a "Let’s Talk About Sugar" program at 7 p.m. in the computer lab at the library next Thursday, January 19. Presenter Francesca Locicero of "Let's Be Frank" Health & Life Coaching will speak.

The program will highlight sugar cravings, how these cravings can impact mood and health, and how you can recalibrate your body to crave healthy foods instead of sugary ones. Locicero is a personal health coach and fitness instructor based in Middletown.

After that, there will be virtual programs about the health benefits of chocolate ("Chocolate: Is it the New Health Food?") and tea ("Tea: Drink to Your Health") on February 16 and March 16.

The Get Healthy in 2023 programs are free and open to the public. You have to register in advance for all three lectures. Registration information can be found on the mtpl.org calendar
