Middletown Police Investigate 2 Vandalism Incidents At McMahon Park
The Middletown Police Department is currently investigating multiple incidents of vandalism at McMahon Park, police announced Tuesday.
MIDDLETOWN, NJ — The Middletown Police Department is currently investigating multiple incidents of vandalism at McMahon Park, on Atlantic Avenue, police announced Tuesday.
On Sept. 29, someone damaged and removed one of the Township cameras that is in the park. During the incident, a young woman could be seen standing by the public restrooms watching the vandalism take place. There is also a man present in the area, and he too appears to be watching while the camera was damaged and removed.
Then on Oct. 4, police again responded to McMahon Park for a report of vandalism. Damage occurred in the men’s restroom and the family restroom. A review of video footage shows a group of individuals standing by the bathrooms. Members of this same group are later seen running from the bathrooms.

Middletown Police are now asking for the public’s help identifying the young people (they appear to be teens) in the Sept. 29 and Oct. 4 vandalism incidents. The individuals pictured are persons of interest, not suspects at this time, stressed police.
