Middletown Trader Joe's Reveals Opening Date

MIDDLETOWN, NJ — Get ready: The brand-new Trader Joe's on Rt. 35 in Middletown will open this Thursday, April 25.

The company just announced the opening date here on their corporate website. Doors open at 8 a.m. Thursday for their grand opening.

This is the Trader Joe's located in the Middletown Plaza shopping center, on Rt. 35 at Harmony Road, 1447 Rt. 35 (where Plato's Closet, the At Home store is).

Trader Joe's moved into the former Walgreen's space.

The new Middletown Trader Joe's will be open seven days a week, from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. every day.

The Middletown Trader Joe's does not have a license to sell alcohol. Only two Trader Joe's in New Jersey have licenses to sell alcohol, and they are the Princeton and Westfield stores.

The Middletown Trader Joe's will carry all the items regular TJ's shoppers know and love, including flavored sparkling waters, cold-brew coffee, fresh salad kits foods, snacks, flowers and plants, beauty products, frozen and prepared foods.
