Obituary: Philip John Ott, Jr., 51: Karate Instructor, Loving Father of Three Children

Philip John Ott, Jr., 51, was a 7th degree Black Belt and karate instructor. He is survived by his three children.

Philip John Ott Jr. 51, of Lords Valley, Pa, died on September 4, 2014 in Pennsylvania. He was born in Orange, NJ and lived in Chatham NJ and Lords Valley, Pa. Philip worked as a self employed karate instructor in Chatham and East Stroudsburg, Pa. He held a 7th degree Black Belt, he loved fishing and was a very religious man and a loving father.

Surviving are his 3 children, Dylan, Drew, and Katie Ott of Chatham NJ; his parents Philip and Janice Ott of Lords Valley, Pa. two sisters, Julie and Robert Schelling of Belford, NJ, Laura and Anthony Albert of Washington NJ; . 2 nieces and 3 nephews and one great niece.

Visitation will be held Monday, September 08, 2014 from 7 to 9 pm at John F. Pfleger Funeral Home, 115 Tindall Road, Middletown. Funeral services are scheduled for Tuesday September 9, 2014 at 11:00 at Westminster Presbyterian Church 94 Tindall Rd. Middletown, NJ. Burial will follow at Fair View Cemetery, Middletown.
