Port Monmouth Man, 50, Arrested for Selling Heroin After Month-Long Investigation
A Port Monmouth man was arrested on August 27 after police executed a search warrant after investigating sales from his residence.

A Port Monmouth man was arrested on August 27 after police executed a search warrant of his residence on Port Monmouth Road and charged him with drug offenses.
James Baker, age 50, was arrested for Possession of Heroin, Possession of Heroin with the Intent to Distribute, Unlawful Possession of Percocet, Unlawful Possession of Percocet with the Intent to Distribute, Possession of Hypodermic Syringes and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
The warrant execution was the result of a month-long investigation into the sale of heroin from the residence, and was conducted by the Detectives Keith Hirschbein and Anthony Dellatacoma of the Middletown Police Detective Bureau, and and Officer Donald Coates of the Quality of Life Unit.

Baker was being held at the Monmouth County Correctional Facility on $60,000.00 bail set by Judge Honora Kilgallen of the Monmouth County Superior Court.
An arrest is not a conviction, and every defendant is presumed innocent until found guilty beyond a reasonable doubt at trial.
