Middletown residents concerned about flood insurance premium increases are "encouraged" <a href="http://middletownnj.org/notices/read/3f0f6d37" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">to download and mail a letter to officials appealing the hikes</a>.  "Residents of North Middletown concerned about significant increases to their flood insurance premiums in the near future, are encouraged to download the attached letter and send it our federal representatives," reads a posting on the township website.  The sample letter—a Word document that can be modified—is available for download through the link above, as is contact information for local and state representatives.
