Tony Perry, Rick Hibell, Kevin Settembrino Sworn Into Township Committee

On Sunday, Tony Perry, Rick Hibell and Kevin Settembrino were sworn in for another term on the Middletown Township Committee.

MIDDLETOWN, NJ — On Sunday, Tony Perry, Rick Hibell and Kevin Settembrino took the oath of office as they were sworn in for another term on the Middletown Township Committee.

These are all familiar names in Middletown: Perry is also currently Middletown's mayor, a position he's held since 2019 after being first elected to the Township Committee in 2017.

Settembrino has been on the Middletown Township Committee for 16 years and was previously mayor and deputy mayor. This will be Hibell's third term (eighth year) on the Township Committee, and he is also currently Middletown's Deputy Mayor.

All three men are Republican. All the elected members of the Middletown Township Committee are Republican and it has been that way for more than a decade now.

Middletown is considered a Republican stronghold of New Jersey.
