NEPTUNE TOWNSHIP, NJ — Police say two brothers from Asbury Park crashed a stolen BMW SUV Tuesday afternoon on Rt. 66 in Neptune Township, in a dramatic crash caught on tape.

Neptune Twp. Police said they first saw the BMW X3 headed west on Rt. 66 Tuesday afternoon, and the car came back as stolen out of South Orange on Dec. 16, 2025. Neptune Twp. Neptune Twp. Police tried to pull the SUV over, but it sped off and ultimately left the roadway, crashing into a construction site at the 3500 block of Rt. 66. See the crash here.
