MIDDLETOWN, NJ — Someone was hit by a car at approximately 9:30 a.m. Wednesday on Newman Springs Road near the intersection with Hurley's Lane, said Middletown Police.It was a woman in her 30s who was hit by the car.She sustained "significant injuries," said police, and was rushed to Hackensack Meridian Health Jersey Shore University Medical Center for treatment. Her name is not being released.
