$1,000 Gifts to Jewish Camp Available to First-Time Campers

One Happy Camper grants administered by The Partnership for Jewish Learning and Life for Essex County campers.

 

Essex County campers enrolling in a Jewish Camp for the first time this summer may be eligible for a $1,000 gift toward enrollment through One Happy Camper NJ.

The $1,000 grants are administered regardless of income by The Partnership for Jewish Learning and Life, an agency of the Jewish Federation of Greater MetroWest NJ.

To be eligible, campers must be 7- to 17-years-old, reside in Essex, Morris, Sussex, Union and parts of Somerset counties, and attend public school or secular, private school.

The camper must be enrolled in one of the more than 150 Jewish residential summer camps around the United States listed at the Foundation for Jewish Camp website. Also, the child must be attending sleep away camp this summer for the first time for 19 consecutive days or more.
