Board of Ed to Elect New Board Member

Here's what's on the agenda for Millburn this week.

On Monday, Millburn's Board of Education Meeting is scheduled for 7:45 p.m in the Education Center.

The board is slated to elect a new board member to fill the seat of Jean Pasternak who resigned to focus on family matters in February.

On Tuesday, the Millburn High School Key Club invites community members to their Second Kiwanis Club Organizational Meeting on April 9 at 7 p.m. in the high school cafeteria.

On Thursday, at the Winston School, 100 East Lane, in Millburn, Dr. Jerome Schultz, Harvard professor and author of "Nowhere to Hide: Why Kids with ADHD and LD Hate School and What We Can Do About It" discusses the consequences of the unabated stress associated with Learning disabilities and ADHD and the toxic, deleterious impact of this stress on kids' academic learning, social skills, behavior, and efficient brain functioning.

Also on Thurday, the Millburn Old Guard is set to meet at 10:30 a.m. at the George Bauer Community Center for its weekly meeting.
