Committee Approves DMDA Budget for 2013

Millburn's Downtown Millburn Development Alliance 2013 blueprint was adopted by the township Tuesday.

The $265,928 Downtown Millburn Development Alliance 2013 budget was approved Tuesday night at Millburn's Township Committee meeting.

The initial budget was presented at the Feb. 5 meeting by DMDA's current president Gina Colabelli and past president John Buchholz.

The budget came in only $9,000 more than last year's $256,060 figure, even with an increase in sidewalk sweeping and maintenance.

In the Feb. 5 meeting it was reported, sweeping and maintenance went up to $15,000 from last year's $3,750.

Committeeman Thomas McDermott also noted in the February meeting the DMDA saved $65,000 because of a reorganization.
