Dave Portnoy's Barstool Pizza Rates Vinnie's Pan Pizza In Millburn

MILLBURN, NJ — Dave Portnoy, whose "Barstool Pizza" reviews have drawn millions of followers on social media, tends to inspire a flurry of new customers when he gives a place a high score on a scale of 1-10.

Last week, he came to Millburn — although it sounds like he called it "Millbury" — to review Vinnie's Pan Pizza, a brick oven place that also serves wings and parm sandwiches.

Portnoy seemed impressed, although the lack of crust around the edges made a slice hard to hold, he noted.

Portnoy says in the video, "This place is going to be electric after I'm done with it. This is great. This particular piece I took doesn't have much crust...we're off to a bangin' start here in Jersey. Wow. I love it 8.3. I love this pizza, the sauce." For a bar pie, he says, "This is not greasy at all, perfect crust, a little hard to hold with the crust."
