Despite Rain Delay, Millburn Seniors Graduate Outside
Millburn senior class president Justin Dower told his classmates to "dare to make a difference" in his address during graduation.
After a late start because of the rain, Millburn High School celebrated the graduation of the class of 2013 on Tuesday evening.
The administration tried to move the graduation inside when a thunderstorm hit Millburn just after 4 p.m. but decided to wait it out, delaying the graduation to 5:30 p.m.

"I don't really know much about the real world because I haven't been there yet but we are ready," Dower said.
He stressed the importance of community, using Super storm Sandy as an example on how his class and school came together.

"If you want to make kids want to go back to school, take away our power for a week," Powers joked.
High School principal Dr. William Miron told the class, "It is never too late to be what you might have been."
"Success is not by accident, you have to plan and prepare for your future," he said.
