SHORT HILLS, NJ — How much does gasoline cost in the Millburn area? As of Thursday, drivers can fuel up for less than $3 per gallon at a local gas station, according to an online price tracker.

Gas was selling at $2.91 (cash price) at Short Hills Fuel, 46 Chatham Road in Short Hills, according to GasBuddy.

The average cost of a gallon of gas in New Jersey was $3.03 as of Thursday afternoon. The lowest price was $2.71, which was reported at gas stations in Freehold (Eagle), Fords (Fuel 4) and Ewing (BP).
