Man Allegedly Caught Masturbating in Library
A Newark man was arrested Monday for outstanding warrants from Bergen County Sheriff's Department when police responded to complaint at Millburn Library.

Millburn police arrested a 24-year-old Newark man on outstanding warrants Monday after a librarian accused him of masturbating on the second floor of the Millburn Public Library, police said.
According to the report, police responded to the library at about 1 p.m. on a report of a man acting inappropriately.
Upon arrival, a librarian told police a man on the second floor was masturbating.

She told police that while she was sitting at a table in the library on the second floor she heard a "weird sound."
According to the report, she turned around and saw the man masturbating while looking at her, the report stated. When the man realized the librarian noticed him, he said, "I'm sorry."

The man told police he was not masturbating but his hand was paralyzed in a permanent fist position.
The man was processed and turned over to the Bergen County Sheriff's Department.
