Zoning Board Member Resigns, Stop & Shop Hearing Postponed

Roger Manshel stepped down last weekend.

Stop & Shop officials delayed the hearing about site plans for the proposed supermarket on Millburn Avenue until the township's zoning board of adjustment has a full board of seven member, the Item of Millburn-Short Hills reported.

The decision was made after board member Roger Manshel resigned to pursue other obligations this past weekend, the report said.

Although there are still six board members and two alternates, board chairman Joseph Steinberg and vice chairman Michael Parlavecchio have both recused themselves from the hearings.
