Meet Prospective Board of Education Members: This Week Ahead
Here's what's going on in Millburn-Short Hills this week.

On Monday, Millburn's Board of Education Meeting is scheduled for 7:45 p.m in the Education Center.
In the last special meeting the board approved a preliminary budget that would raise school taxes 2 percent for the township.
At Monday night's meeting, residents vying for the open Board of Education seat will have the opportunity to explain why they are interested in serving on the board and their qualifications.

The board will appoint a resident to fill the open seat at the April 11 meeting, school board president Jeffery Waters explained at the Feb. 25 meeting.

On Wednesday, the Recreation Commission is scheduled to meet at 8 p.m. Bauer Community Center, 100 Main Street, in Taylor Park.
On Thursday, the Millburn Old Guard is set to meet at 10:30 a.m. at George Bauer Community Center, 100 Main Street.
