Memorial Day in Millburn-Short Hills
The township's observation of the holiday will start at 9:15 a.m. with a ceremony at St. Stephens Cemetery and ends with the annual parade starting at 11 a.m. from the Short Hills train station.

Millburn Township will celebrate Memorial Day on Monday.
All Millburn-Short Hills residents are invited to the annual Guy R. Bosworth American Legion Post 140 observation of the holiday.
The day's schedule is as follows:

- At 9:15 a.m., there will be a ceremony at St. Stephens Cemetery
- At 9:45 a.m., there will be a ceremony at St. Rose of Lima Cemetery
Both ceremonies will include a gun salute, a prayer, Milburn High School Brass Ensemble performing the hymn "Nearer My God to Thee," and the playing of "Taps."
- At 10:45 a.m. the The Chatham Community Band will play in Taylor Park perform patriotic songs in observance of the day.
- At 11 a.m. the annual parade will start off at the Short Hills Train Station and will head down Millurn Avenue and Main Street, ending in Taylor Park.
During the cermony in Taylor Park, officials will give speeches, and there will be a performace Essex County Emerald Society Pipe Band playing "Amazing Grace." "Taps" will also be played again.
