Millburn-Short Hills School Calendar 2018-19: First Day Of School

MILLBURN-SHORT HILLS, NJ — The first day of school in Millburn and Short Hills is September 4 — and whether you and the kids are looking forward to the new school year or are dreading the end of summer, you’ll want to mark the date on your calendar ASAP. The Millburn Township Public Schools have released their 2018-2019 calendar for public schools.

The calendar includes important dates such as winter and spring vacations, religious holidays, federal holidays, early dismissals and parent-teacher conferences.

• 9/10 - 9/11: No School (Rosh Hashanah)
• 9/19: No School (Yom Kippur)

October

• 10/8: Early Dismissal (Staff Development)

November

• 11/7: No School (Staff Development)
• 11/8 - 11/9: No School (NJEA Convention)
• 11/21: Early Dismissal
• 11/22 - 11/23: No School (Thanksgiving Recess)

December

• 12/21: Early Dismissal
• 12/24 - 12/31: No School (Holiday Recess)

January

• 1/1: No School (Holiday Recess)
• 1/21: No School (Martin Luther King Jr. Day)

February

• 2/5: No School (Staff Development)
• 2/18 - 2/19: No School (Presidents' Day Weekend)

March

• 3/13: Early Dismissal (Staff Development)

April

• 4/15 - 4/19: No School (Spring Break)

May

• 5/27: No School (Memorial Day)

June

• 6/17 - 6/18 : Early Dismissal
• 6/19: Last Day of School/Early Dismissal
