Neighborhood-Wide Garage Sale For a Good Cause

Part of the proceeds will be donated to American Red Cross for Oklahoma Tornado Relief and a lemonade stands will raise funds for Kids for Cancer on Saturday.

More than 25 families will participate in Knollwood's first neighborhood-wide garage sale Saturday for a good cause.

Part of proceeds to be donated to American Red Cross for Oklahoma Tornado Relief and local kids will also be selling lemonade to raise funds for Kids for Cancer.

The large garage sale will take place from 9 a.m. to noon in the neighborhood behind the Millburn Middle School on Hobart Avenue and Whitney, Hawthorne, Haddonfield and Midhurst roads.

Many residents will set up in their own driveways and/or garages, while several other families will participate in a flea market-style pop-up shop at the intersection of Midhurst and Hawthorne roads.

Residents will be selling toys, kids' gear, clothing, toys, furniture, sports equipment, games and puzzles just to name a few.
