The Squad also formally recognized Melissa Campbell, who served as Captain for more than ten years. During her tenure, MSHVFAS navigated significant organizational change, strengthened its training programs, and continued to provide reliable emergency medical services to the community.

“The election of the Captain and the appointment of officers is always significant, but what makes this team exceptional is that they are all accomplished professionals who choose to serve their community as unpaid volunteers,” said H. Steven Roth, President of the Millburn-Short Hills Volunteer First Aid Squad. “The Captain and Lieutenants bring deep experience, strong leadership, and a proven commitment to the Squad. Together, they have already accomplished a great deal in strengthening operations, training, and readiness, and I am confident they will continue to move the organization forward.”

Ryan added, “We are focused on continuity and progress, supporting our members, strengthening our training, and ensuring the Squad remains ready to serve the community at the highest level.”
