Project Trio Performs at Hartshorn School

Originally scheduled for November but cancelled by Sandy, the trio performed in February.

Hartshorn School Fourth Graders recently had the opportunity to enjoy  the music of the highly-regarded chamber-music ensemble Project Trio.

A November field trip to see the New Jersey Symphony Orchestra where the musicians were to be featured was cancelled due to Hurricane Sandy, so Project Trio came to Hartshorn on Feb. 12.

Hartshorn music teacher Erin Smith was thrilled to be able to reschedule the field trip as a “private concert” by the Trio. Ms. Smith said, “The students and I were very excited about seeing this special group - not only are they classically trained musicians, but their unique style makes chamber music incredibly accessible to young audiences.”
