The presentation will feature a number of precautions parents and students can take to ensure children are safe during the prom and graduation celebrations. Segear's years of experience have provided him with contacts, advice and critical information necessary to share with parents in order to anticipate and prevent potentially tragic or life changing events.

He stresses the importance of parental involvement in pre-planning and highlights "must ask" questions to ensure safe and positive celebration experiences. Segear will encourage parents to think about their students' safety and their futures before being pressured into making decisions.
