Short Hills Writer Releases New Poetry Book, Takes On Corrupt Politics

'State of the Union' by Peter Waldor features poetry discussing politics and corruption in the Garden State.

SHORT HILLS, NJ, October 18, 2016 — Local author Peter Waldor announces that his fifth book of poems, State of the Union, will be published on January 1, 2017, by Kelsay Books.

State of the Union is a collection of 42 spare, satirical poems that shine timely light on corrupt corporate and political practices, such as pay-to-play, and encompass all levels of government on the state and national level. Waldor employs a subtle but blistering irony in his poems that examine ethics and conscience from an insider’s perspective, reflecting much of today’s political climate. In advance of publication, preorders may be placed on www.peterwaldor.com.
