Six More Millburn Businesses Benefit From Flood Fundraiser
Some funds from the Millburn Mud Ball fashion show were recently distributed to 6 businesses outside of the town's Special Interest District
MILLBURN, NJ — A little more than two months after the Millburn Mud Ball took place — a fashion show to raise money for businesses affected by Hurricane Ida — six businesses outside of the town's Special Improvement District have received funds to help with recovery from severe flooding.
The Oct. 17 fashion show raised over $50K for Millburn businesses that suffered in the storm. The majority of funds from the Mud Ball went toward businesses within Millburn's Special Improvement District, which spans five areas of the township, but some of the money went to these six additional businesses are located outside of the designated SID area.
The recent recipients include Positive Developments, Anthony Lawrence Jewelers, Natural Cleaners, Mt. Zion Church, Casa Colombo Civic Association and Dr. Mai Tram Ho and Brookside.
